Jesus loves me. But, I just want to be friends.

i received some mail today from the abc...unfortunately, it was not the comments i was hoping for:

Dear Michael,

Your application to become an ABC cadet journalist was unsuccessful.

There were a great many applications and competition to reach the short list was very strong.

I hope your attempt to enter the field of journalism is successful. It may be we communicate again during the next cadet selection process.

i was really hoping i would be successful with this application. i've got a lot of applications in, but this one was for the ABC, a company i have wanted to work with for some time...and i've already worked there a few years back (promo production, which is what i'd ideally like to do, although journalism would be fantastic too). oh well, here's hoping some of the other applications are more successful.
